Mailing contents

Overview

You can find this area when you open and edit a mailing template. Here you can configure the general settings and content of the email template, including subject, sender, content and footer.

Features

Edit mailing contents

  1. Open a mailing template.
  2. Change the information you want to update.
  3. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Fields

General settings

  1. Internal name: An internal name for the template (can be copied by clicking the label, required).
  2. Subject: The subject of the email (can be copied by clicking the label). You can use placeholders to personalize the subject (see Placeholders, required).
  3. Sender display name: The name shown as the sender.
  4. Sender email: The email address from which the mailing should be sent (if empty, the organization’s default email is used).

Content blocks

You can add different blocks to the email content:

  • Text: Text blocks with formatting
  • Divider: A divider line between blocks
  • Button: Clickable buttons with links
  • Image: Images displayed in the email
  • QR code: QR codes rendered in the email

You can reorder blocks using the arrows.

Text block

Use the text block to insert formatted text into the email:

  • Text: Enter formatted text (bold, italic, lists, links, etc.). You can also use placeholders to personalize the text (see Placeholders).
  • Border: Optionally add a border around the text block. You can adjust the border color (default color is blue #006BD6). The color can be specified in RGB (e.g. rgb(255, 255, 255)) or hex (e.g. #ffffff).

Divider

Use the divider to insert visual separators between blocks:

  • Color: Adjust the divider color (default is light gray #949496). The color can be specified in RGB or hex.

Button block

Use the button block to add clickable buttons to the email:

  • Button text: The text shown on the button. You can use placeholders (see Placeholders).
  • Button link: The URL the button should lead to (required). You can use placeholders to create personalized links (see Placeholders).
  • Button text color: Text color of the button (default is white). The color can be specified in RGB or hex.
  • Button background color: Background color of the button (default is blue #006BD6). The color can be specified in RGB or hex.
  • Registration link: Here you can link to the ticket shop. Use either the direct shop link or the page where the shop is embedded. Example: https://eradiant.eu/o/MUSTER-ORGANISATION/shop/SHOP. Ideally you also append placeholders for name or voucher. In that case append the following query string (including question mark):
    ?givenname={{first_name_uri}}&familyname={{last_name_uri}}&mail={{email_uri}}

Image block

Use the image block to embed images in the email:

  • Image: Upload an image to display in the email. It is automatically constrained to the maximum width (maximum height: 300px).
  • Image link: Optionally add a link for the image. If set, the image becomes clickable and links to that URL. You can use placeholders (see Placeholders).
  • Spacing: Configure top and bottom spacing for the image.

QR code block

Use the QR code block to insert QR codes:

  • QR code link: The link encoded into the QR code. You can use placeholders to create personalized QR codes (e.g. personalized registration links, see Placeholders).
  • QR code color: Color of the QR code (default is black #000000). The color can be specified in RGB or hex.

Footer content

  1. Footer text: Text displayed in the footer of the email. You can use placeholders (see Placeholders).
  2. Social links: Links to social media profiles shown in the footer.
  3. Legal information: Imprint, terms & conditions and privacy policy can be referenced in the footer. Note: An unsubscribe link should be included here for mailings.

Additional sections

Attachments

You can attach files to the email (e.g. PDFs, info sheets).
Note: Keep attachments as small as possible – large attachments increase the risk of emails being classified as spam.

Calendar events

You can attach a calendar event (iCal/ICS) to the email so recipients can add it to their calendar app.
Note: For invitation mailings you should generally avoid calendar events. Recipients might think they already have a ticket and therefore skip purchasing one.

Use custom template

You can use a custom HTML template.
Note: This template currently needs to be configured by ECENT.

Email preview

You can show a preview of the email to see how it will look for recipients.

Usage

With mailing contents you can fully customize the content and settings of your email templates. You can create personalized content using placeholders and design the email layout (for details on placeholders see Placeholders).
