Event settings component

Overview

You can find this area when you open an event and navigate to the event settings in the left sidebar. You can also open the settings by clicking "Event settings" on the event dashboard. In this area you can configure all basic settings for your event.

Features

Edit event settings

  1. Open the event whose settings you want to edit.
  2. Navigate to the event settings.
  3. Change the information you want to update.
  4. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Create event

  1. Click the large plus icon at the top right on the event overview page.
  2. Fill in the required fields (name, short name, etc.). All fields can be changed later.
  3. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Delete event

  1. This functionality is currently not available.

Fields

General information

  1. Name: The name of the event (required).
  2. Short name: The short name of the event, only uppercase letters, numbers and - (used in the URL, required, must be unique per organization).
  3. Short description: A short description of the event.
  4. Responsible: The person in your organization responsible for this event (required).
  5. Admins for this event: Members of your organization who have admin rights for this event.
  6. Event visibility: Determines whether the event is public or not published.
  7. Organizer: The organizer of the event (optional, defaults to the organization name).
  8. Time zone: The time zone of the event (required).
  9. Language: The language of the event (required).
  10. Parent event: The parent event (if this event is a side event). The parent event must always be created first.

Legal

  1. Imprint: Here you can either use an external imprint or enter an imprint directly – the page for this is created by ERADIANT (required).
  2. Terms & Conditions (T&Cs): Here you can either use external T&Cs or create T&Cs directly in the system.
  3. Privacy policy: Here you can either use an external privacy policy or create a privacy policy directly in the system (required).

Event days

Days can be added via the small plus icon or removed via the "x" on the right.

  1. Custom day title: An optional title for this day (e.g. "Day 1", "Conference day").
  2. Date: The date of the event day.
  3. Start time: The start time of the event day.
  4. End time: The end time of the event day.

Rooms/locations

  • Assigned rooms/locations: Here you can assign rooms and locations to this event that are available for it. You must create them first – see Locations for details.

Deploy domains

  • Deploy domains for this event: Here you can assign deploy domains to this event. Deploy domains define under which domain the event website is accessible. You can assign multiple domains if the event should be available on different domains.
