Use cases – event planning & networking
Welcome to the most important use cases around event planning and networking with ERADIANT.
Think of this page as your starting point: it gives you a clear overview of where ERADIANT helps you in practice – with a focus on the Event and Networking modules.
Use cases for event planning & networking
1. Networking time slots for structured 1:1 meetings
With the networking module you plan dedicated networking time slots (e.g. “Networking lunch”, “Matchmaking slot in the afternoon”) in which participants can book targeted meetings.
- What you achieve
- You create clear time windows for networking instead of leaving “chance encounters” to chance.
- You avoid overbookings because ERADIANT manages time slots centrally.
- You can support different networking formats (1:1, groups, themed tables) in a single system.
- How ERADIANT helps
- Manage networking slots directly in the event via
event_networking_time_slots. - Clear table with start/end times, active/inactive status and created‑at timestamp.
- Fast editing via a list view with filter and sort options.
- Manage networking slots directly in the event via
2. Live programme preview at the event
Event programme and networking belong together: ERADIANT links programme items, rooms and networking slots so that participants know exactly when to listen and when to network.
- What you achieve
- Clear separation of content times (talks, panels) and networking times.
- Less stress with last‑minute programme changes – everything updates centrally.
- You can plan networking specifically around peaks in the programme (e.g. after the keynote).
- How ERADIANT helps
- Programme preview in TV / screen format for participants on site.
- Real‑time synchronisation between planning view, website and programme preview.
- Configurable which parts of the programme are visible in live mode.
3. Matchmaking via participant properties / filters
You can tag participants with properties / filters (e.g. “Investor”, “Speaker”, “Press”, “Sponsor”, “Job seeking”, “Tech lead”) to enable targeted matchmaking.
- What you achieve
- Relevant contacts find each other faster (e.g. start‑ups ↔ investors, HR ↔ talent).
- Sponsors get more visibility through targeted networking.
- You can analyse afterwards which profiles were particularly active.
- How ERADIANT helps
- Manage properties / filters per event in
event_networking_participant_tags. - Prioritise properties (e.g. important roles at the top of the selection).
- Comfortable browser‑based UI for editing.
- Manage properties / filters per event in
4. Networking as a measurable KPI (chats, appointments, messages)
Networking is often hard to grasp – ERADIANT makes it measurable. You see how many chats, appointments and messages occur on which days and how interaction develops over the entire event period.
- What you achieve
- You can prove how strongly your event really drives networking.
- You identify peak times and can plan future events better.
- You see whether specific formats (e.g. “speed networking”) are actually used.
- How ERADIANT helps
- Aggregation of chats, appointments and messages by day (e.g. via
formatNetworking). - Timeline visualisation showing daily progress and cumulative values.
- Solid basis for reports to management, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Aggregation of chats, appointments and messages by day (e.g. via

6. Preparing special formats (e.g. live quiz, voting, galas)
In addition to networking ERADIANT supports you with interactive formats such as live quizzes, voting or customised voting scenarios at large events (galas, conferences, panel discussions).
- What you achieve
- You make events more interactive and actively involve participants.
