ERADIANT Check-In (Android)

Overview

The ERADIANT Check-In app for Android is the mobile app for on-site entry check-in. You scan ticket codes or QR codes, check participants in and out, and can optionally print badges.

Before using the app, create a check-in device in the dashboard (at ticketing or organization level) and connect the Android device via the connection QR code.

Installation

  1. Open the Google Play Store on the Android device.
  2. Search for “ERADIANT Check-In”.
  3. Install the app.

The device should be on the same Wi‑Fi as your ERADIANT environment (internet access for API requests).

Connect device

  1. Create a check-in device in ERADIANT and open the detail view with the connection QR code.
  2. Start the check-in app on the Android device.
  3. Tap “Connect check-in list” and scan the QR code — or enter the connection code manually.
  4. After successful pairing you see the connected check-in lists.

Each connection code works only once. For another tablet, create a new check-in device.

Perform check-in

  1. Select the desired check-in list in the app.
  2. Tap Scan and hold the ticket QR code or barcode in front of the camera — or search for participants manually.
  3. Review the displayed data and confirm entry or exit (depending on list configuration).
  4. Optional: Print badge if a badge template is configured and a printer is set up.

Permissions

The app requires among others:

  • Camera — to scan connection and ticket codes
  • Local network — for badge printers via TCP/IP (on first print)

Notes

  • If the app version is outdated, you are redirected to the Play Store to install an update.
  • Rules for re-entry, eligible products, and test lists are configured in the respective check-in list — not in the app.
