Check-in devices
Available under Participants & Check-In → Check-in devices in the ticketing.
Overview
Check-in devices at ticketing level allow you to pair the ERADIANT Check-In App with exactly one check-in list of this ticketing. Entrance teams can check in tickets on site via scan without signing in to the dashboard.
Install the app per operating system under Check-In Apps → Android or Check-In Apps → Apple.
There are two types of check-in devices:
- Ticketing level (this page): access to one check-in list of a ticketing.
- Organization level: access to all check-in lists of the organization — see Submodule check-in devices (organization).
Features
Create a check-in device
- Open a ticketing and navigate to Participants & Check-In → Check-in devices.
- Click New check-in device.
- Enter a name (e.g. "Main entrance day 1").
- Select the check-in list the device should access.
- Save the device — the connection QR code or connection token appears.
Connect a device with the check-in app
- Install the ERADIANT Check-In App on the device (Android / Apple).
- Open the created check-in device in ERADIANT.
- Scan the QR code in the app or enter the connection token.
- After successful pairing, status changes to Connected.
Each connection code can only be used once. For another device, create a new check-in device.
Disconnect a device
- Open the check-in device in the edit view.
- Disconnect via Delete — the device loses access immediately.
- For a new connection, create a new check-in device.
Fields
- Name: Device label in the overview (e.g. "Side entrance").
- Check-in list: The list whose participants may be checked in via this device.
- Status: Connected or Not connected — depending on whether the app is paired.
- Connection token / QR code: One-time code for pairing with the check-in app.
Usage
Check-in devices are useful for:
- Entrances at multiple doors with separate check-in lists and tablets.
- Separate areas (e.g. VIP vs. standard entrance).
- On-site teams working without dashboard access.
Check-in rules (re-entry, eligible products, etc.) are configured in the respective check-in list.
