About the ticketing module
Overview
The ticketing module covers everything you need for selling and handling tickets – from configuration through checkout to on-site check-in.
Ticketings overview
In the ticketings overview you see all ticketings of your organization in a list. A ticketing bundles products, questions, shops, orders and check-ins for a specific context (e.g. an event or event series). You can see the status (draft, on sale, ended), open a ticketing and filter by name or time period. New ticketings are also created from this overview.
Components in the ticketing module
- Settings: Edit master data, time range, payment providers, billing address and venue for a ticketing.
- Products: Configure ticket types (price, tax rate, visibility, sales period).
- Questions: Define required and additional questions for orders or individual tickets (e.g. first name, email, networking participation).
- Shops: Create public shop pages with their own URL and assign products.
- Quotas: Define sales limits for products (e.g. maximum number of tickets per product).
- Orders: View orders and track status and payments.
- Check-in lists: Check in participants (e.g. via scan) and use lists/statistics.
- Event sync: Link ticketing to an event and synchronize data (e.g. participants, networking properties).
Usage
Before you can accept payments, your organization needs at least one connected payment provider (currently Stripe). You configure this in the organization module under Payment provider.
In ticketing itself you then select the active payment providers and configure products, shop and checkout information. This allows you to sell tickets and manage the entire process centrally in ERADIANT.
