Edit page (reachable via Edit website)

Overview

In the Edit page area you adjust the content of an individual event website page. You can add, remove or reorder text, images and content blocks without changing the overall structure of the website.

Features

Edit page

  1. Open the event whose page you want to edit.
  2. In the left menu, navigate to the Website area and select the desired page.
  3. Open the page detail view / edit mode (blue pencil icon).
  4. Change the content you want to update (e.g. headings, text, images, buttons).
  5. Click Save (bottom right, blue).

Add and arrange content blocks

  1. In edit mode, scroll all the way down.
  2. Choose the desired block type (e.g. text, image, program, networking).
  3. Fill in the block fields (e.g. text, link, image selection).
  4. Use arrows or drag‑and‑drop to change the order of blocks.
  5. Click Save (bottom right, blue).

Reset or remove content

  1. Open the page in edit mode.
  2. Remove individual blocks or content that is no longer needed via the X on each block.
  3. Save your changes so they appear on the public website.

Blocks

In the page editor you build your page from blocks. Each block type has its own fields and is intended for a specific use case. You can place all blocks on a single page (especially suitable for small events) or use dedicated pages (e.g. program, networking, ticketing – especially suitable for larger events).

Text

Use the text block for freely designed content such as introductions, info texts or notes.

  1. Title / heading in block: Optional; can be used as a visual heading for the section.
  2. Text content: Rich text (paragraphs, lists, links, emphasis).
  3. Background color: Optional background color for the text block to highlight individual sections.
  4. Text size: Adjust the size of heading and body text.
  5. Alignment: Depending on layout, text can be left‑aligned, centered or right‑aligned.
  6. Optional button in block: You can add a button (label and link), e.g. “Learn more” or “Register now”.

Heading

Use the text block to structure pages with headings and divide content into sections (leave the text field empty).

Image carousel / gallery

Use this block to show multiple images as a gallery or slider. You can also use it to display a single image only.

  1. Image list: Multiple images shown as an image carousel.
  2. Order: Change the order of images using the arrows on each image.
  3. Copyright: A copyright can be specified per image.

Program items

Use this block to display a list of program items directly on the website.

  1. Displayed information: Choose which information per program item should be shown on the page:
    • Show description: Description of the program item.
    • Show locations: Locations (e.g. “Börsensaal”).
    • Show mark button: Button to bookmark/favorite the program item.
    • Show “new day” banner: Banner highlighting that the program item takes place on a new day.
    • Show “new time” banner: Banner highlighting that the program item takes place at a new time.
    • Show “same day” banner: Banner marking program items on the same day.
    • Show “same time” banner: Banner marking program items at the same time.
    • Show colors for time/day banner lines: Adjust colors in the public program block for time/day banner lines.
    • Show speakers: Display of the program item’s speakers.
    • Show tags: Display of assigned tags/categories.
    • Show times: Display of start and end time.
    • Shorten description: Automatically shortens long descriptions after a defined length.
    • Show speaker title: Display of the speakers’ role/function (e.g. program manager).
    • Show duration: Display of the program item’s duration.
    • Show program item title: Display of the program item title.
  2. Location prefix: Whether a prefix is shown before the room name (e.g. “Room:”).
  3. Show tag categories: Whether tag categories are displayed (example: “Format: Keynote” vs “Keynote” if the option is off).
  4. Speaker name order: Configure the order in which speaker information is shown.
  5. Linked rooms page: If you have a floor plan / rooms page, it is linked here.

Program search bar

Use the search bar so visitors can quickly find individual program items.

  • Show filter button: Whether the filter button is shown.

Program filter dialog

Use the filter dialog to let visitors filter the program by criteria (ideally above the program).

  1. Group by category: Whether filter options are grouped by categories (e.g. “Format”, “Audience”).
  2. Show location filter: Enables an additional filter by room/location.
  3. “Show only marked” button: Shows a button so visitors only see bookmarked program items.
  4. “Share marked” button: Shows a button to share a selection of bookmarked program items.

Program share dialog

Use this block to share individual program items or the full program easily (ideally above the program, and only if you are not using the program filter dialog).

Program day selector

Use this block when your event spans several days and visitors should be able to switch between days quickly (ideally above the program, and only if you are not using the program filter dialog).

  • Show “only marked” button: Shows a button so visitors only see bookmarked program items.

Program location filter

Use this block if you want program items to be filterable by rooms/locations.

  • Multiple locations selectable: Whether multiple locations can be selected.

Networking overview list

Use this list to present key networking elements of your event in a compact way.

Networking chat

Use this block if your event offers an integrated chat and meetings can be arranged via chat.

Networking search bar

Use the networking search so participants can find suitable contacts quickly.

Networking categories

Use this block to show interest or topic categories that participants can filter by.

Speakers / people

This block will follow.

Ticket shop

Use this block to embed an ERADIANT ticket shop directly on the event website.

  • Select shop: Link to the ticketing / shop view that is embedded.

Downloads

Use this block to provide documents and materials for download.

  1. File list: One or more files (e.g. PDFs, presentations, info sheets) offered for download.
  2. Title per download: Title or short label of the file shown to visitors.
  3. Description per download: Optional explanatory text on what the file is for.

Floor plans

Use this block to help visitors orient themselves (e.g. hall plans, room overviews).

  1. Floor plan image: Uploaded image (e.g. hall plan, room plan) displayed on the website.
  2. Description / legend: Optional text explaining the plan (e.g. colors, symbols).

FAQ / accordion

Use this block to present questions and answers clearly.

  1. Question list: Multiple question–answer pairs.
  2. Question: Title of the entry that can be expanded.
  3. Answer: Detail text shown when expanded.

Text + image

Use this block to combine text and image in one section (e.g. for highlights or testimonials).

  1. Title / heading: Heading for the combined section.
  2. Text content: Descriptive text shown next to or under the image.
  3. Image file: Image shown together with the text.
  4. Image position: Whether the image is shown to the left or right of the text.
  5. Background color: Optional background color for the entire block.

Pretix widget

Use this block to embed your Pretix ticket widget directly on the event website.

  1. Pretix event link / widget configuration: URL or identifier of the Pretix event to embed.
  2. Display options: Depending on system configuration, limit which products/ticket categories are shown.
  3. Hint text: Optional short text above or below the widget (e.g. notes on tickets or payment methods).

Usage

By editing page contents you shape the content of your event website. Well‑structured text, suitable images and clear calls to action help visitors find important information quickly.
Usability tip: Keep individual pages clear – avoid too much content, strong color shifts, and too many different font sizes and styles. That keeps the website easy to read and visually consistent.
