On-site monitors

Overview

On-site monitors are admin-configured fullscreen views for screens at the venue. They show program and slides in real time — based on the event program.

Manage under Website → On-site monitors in event navigation.

Public URL

Each monitor view has its own URL:

/o/[organization]/events/[short_name]/on-site-monitors/[url-name]

Create monitor view

  1. Open event → Website → On-site monitors
  2. Create monitor view
  3. Enter Display name and URL name
  4. Add slides (program slide, image slide, or video slide) and set order
  5. Save and open URL on target device in fullscreen browser

Open displays refresh content automatically in the background — dashboard changes appear without a manual browser reload.

Slide types

Program slide

Shows current program items from the event program — filtered by event time zone and time.

Image slide

Static image with configurable display duration.

Video slide

Video from event storage with options for sound, loop, and lead time (video_start_lead_ms, video_end_lead_ms). Videos are preloaded so transitions stay smooth.

Fields

  1. Display name
  2. URL name
  3. Active?
  4. Slides: Program, image, or video; order via drag & drop
  5. Duration: Display duration per slide in milliseconds (e.g. 5000 = 5 seconds)
  6. Show progress bar: Optional per slide — visible with multiple slides

Usage

On-site monitors reduce load on the event website on smartphones. Keep program and event settings (timezone, rooms) up to date so the display is correct.
