Participant view

Overview

The Participant view opens the public event website of your event in a new tab — exactly as participants see it.

This lets you verify changes to pages, layout, program, or networking directly.

Open public event website

  1. Open the desired event in the organization UI.
  2. On the dashboard you find the Participant view section in the overview card with links to the standard domain and optionally the shared event domain.
  3. Click a link to open the public website in a new tab.

Note: Participant view links appear only for public events. For unpublished events you see a notice that the event is not public.

Behavior for unpublished pages

  • Pages with status Staging are not visible to visitors; as event admin you can test them via admin preview.
  • Pages visible only to event admins are marked “Event admins only” in the public view.

Verify changes

Use participant view especially to:

  • test new or changed page content (see Edit page),
  • check layout and design in live context (see Edit layout and design),
  • review program and networking presentation,
  • verify protected pages/blocks are correctly visible only after login or ticket code.

Usage

Participant view is the fastest way to see how your event feels “from the outside”. We recommend switching to participant view after major website, program, or networking changes to test navigation, readability, and mobile display.
