Functions
The Functions page is the best starting point to understand how you work in ERADIANT – regardless of whether you manage events, contacts or mailings.
Instead of looking at each process in isolation, you first learn about the key functional building blocks that are used throughout the interface.
What you learn here
Tables
Tables are the central way ERADIANT displays lists and datasets – e.g. contacts, events, networking time slots or mailings. You will encounter them in almost every module.
You will learn, among other things:
- how columns, sorting, search and filters work,
- how to show and hide columns, pin them and reorder them,
- how to edit entries (in many tables via the icon on the far left of the row),
- how saved table views work.
➡️ For details see the page Tables.
Blocks
Blocks are the building blocks for content on:
- event websites (e.g. hero sections, program areas, partner logos),
- mailings (e.g. text, images, buttons),
- voting pages (e.g. introductions, descriptions, result views).
You will learn:
- which block types exist,
- how to add, move and delete blocks,
- how to edit content within blocks,
- how preview and layout settings work together.
➡️ For details see the page Blocks.
What to do next
Once you understand tables and blocks, it becomes much easier to get started with concrete flows:
- Use the Processes page as an overview of typical end-to-end flows.
- Then move on to the module chapters (events, contacts, voting, organization) to apply these building blocks to your specific use case.
