Leads submodule
Overview
You can find this area by opening the contact module and then the leads submodule. You can also open it by clicking on leads in the left sidebar within the contact module. In this area you can create and edit leads. Leads are potential or actual event interactions that can be tracked and managed.
Features
Leads overview
In the overview, you can see all leads of the organization at a glance. You see the most important information such as type, status, assigned event and creation date. You can search all leads in the organization using the search bar.
Create leads
- Click the large plus icon at the top right.
- Select the type of lead and fill in the required information.
- Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).
Edit leads
- Click the icon to the left of the respective lead.
- Change the information you want to update.
- Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).
Delete leads
- Click the icon to the left of the respective lead.
- Click "Delete" (bottom right in red).
- Confirm by clicking "Delete" in the dialog (black field with blue border).
Fields
- Type: The type of the lead (e.g. General, Event participation invitation, Speaker invitation).
- Status: The current status of the lead.
- Event: The assigned event, if any.
- Involved contacts: Here you can assign contacts to the lead and give them roles.
- Activities: Here you can add activities related to the lead (e.g. event invitations, call logs, mail logs, opt-outs).
- Assigned users: Here you can assign members of your organization to the lead and give them roles.
- Description & activities: A description of the lead and all associated activities (e.g. phone calls, email exchanges, opt-out from the event).
Usage
With the leads area, you can track and manage potential or actual event interactions. You can create and edit leads and link them to contacts, events and activities. Leads help you keep track of your communication and interactions with potential attendees or speakers.
