Institutions submodule

Overview

You can find this area by opening the contact module and then the institutions submodule. You can also open it by clicking on institutions in the left sidebar within the contact module. In this area you can create and edit institutions. These can be used across the entire organization.

Features

Institutions overview

In the overview, you can see all institutions of the organization at a glance. You see the most important information such as name, short name and creation date. You can search all institutions in the organization using the search bar.

Create institutions

1. Click the large plus icon at the top right.
2. Enter a name for the institution.
3. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Edit institutions

1. Click the icon to the left of the respective institution name.
2. Change the information you want to update.
3. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Delete institutions

1. Click the icon to the left of the respective institution name.
2. Click "Delete" (bottom right in red).
3. Confirm by clicking "Delete" in the dialog (black field with blue border).

Fields

1. Name: The name of the institution.
2. Short name: A short name for the institution.
3. Show short name: Determines whether the short name should be shown instead of the full name.
4. Priority: The priority of the institution (values: Unimportant, Standard, Important, Very important).
5. Description: A description of the institution.
6. Website: The institution's website.
7. Images / Logos: Here you can upload and manage images or logos of the institution.

Usage

With the institutions area, you can centrally manage all institutions. You can create and edit institutions and enrich them with additional information such as description, website and logos. Institutions can be used across the entire organization and can be assigned to contacts as companies.
