Settings

Overview

You find this section when you open a vote and scroll to the top area "Settings". In this area you define the basic settings of a vote. You can configure title, description, status and further options.

Settings overview

In the top area of the vote you find all basic settings. You can edit them as long as the vote is in status "Editing". Some settings can also be changed while the vote is running.

Create a vote

1. Click the large plus icon in the top right of the votes overview page.
2. Enter a title for the vote.
3. Configure the basic settings.
4. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Edit settings

1. Open the vote you want to edit.
2. Scroll to the top area "Settings".
3. Change the information you want to adjust.
4. Click "Save" (bottom right in blue).

Delete a vote

1. Open the vote you want to delete.
2. Click "Delete" (bottom right in red).
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Fields

1. Title: The title of the vote (required).
2. Description: Description of the vote (optional, can be formatted).
3. Status: The status of the vote (set automatically):
   • Editing: The vote can be edited.
   • Running: The vote is live and voters can vote.
   • Finished: The vote has ended and the results can be viewed.
4. Open vote: Defines whether everyone with a link to the vote can vote (no protection against multiple votes) or only invited people can participate.
5. Show results while running: Defines whether results are shown while the vote is running (means the vote is no longer fully anonymous).
6. Show results to voters: Defines whether results are shown to voters.
7. Allow editing while running: Defines whether the vote can still be edited while running (means the vote is no longer fully anonymous).
8. Administrators: Members of your organization who have admin rights for this vote.
9. Language: The language of the vote.
