Questions
Overview
You find this section when you open a vote and scroll to the middle area "Questions". In this area you can define questions for votes. You can use different question types and set the order of questions.
Functions
Questions overview
In the overview you see all questions of the vote in the order in which they are shown to voters. You can move questions up or down to change the order. At the end of the questions you find a plus icon to add new questions.
Create a question
- Click the plus icon between questions (or at the beginning/end of the question list).
- Enter a title for the question.
- Choose the question type (free text, ranking or candidates).
- Fill in the required fields (depending on question type).
- The question is saved automatically when you save the vote.
Edit a question
- Click the question you want to edit.
- Change the information you want to adjust.
- Changes are saved automatically when you save the vote.
Delete a question
- Click the question you want to delete.
- Click the delete icon.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Reorder questions
- Click the arrow icons (up/down) on the question.
- The question is moved up or down in the order.
Question types
Free text
With this question type voters can enter free text.
- Title: Your question (required).
- Description: An optional description of the question.
Ranking
With this question type voters can rank candidates. Evaluation uses the Schulze method.
- Title: Your question (required).
- Description: An optional description of the question.
- Candidates: Add the candidates to be ranked.
Candidates (candidate approval)
With this question type voters can vote yes or no for each candidate separately and specify how many votes they want to give.
- Title: Your question (required).
- Description: An optional description of the question.
- Candidates: Add the candidates here.
- Yes votes: Maximum number of yes votes that can be given per vote.
- Yes votes per candidate: Maximum number of yes votes that can be given per candidate.
- No votes: Maximum number of no votes that can be given per vote (normally 0).
- No votes per candidate: Maximum number of no votes that can be given per candidate.
- Randomize order: Defines whether candidates are shown to voters in random order.
- Show vote distribution: Defines whether the exact vote distribution is shown during evaluation.
