Email delivery configurations submodule

Overview

You can find this area when you open the Organization module and then the email delivery configurations submodule. You can also open it by clicking on Email delivery configurations in the left sidebar of the Organization module. In this area you can create and edit email delivery configurations for your organization. These configurations are used to send emails within the different modules.

Functions

Email delivery configurations overview

In the overview you can see all email delivery configurations of the organization. You see the most important information such as sender display name, sender email, status (Active/Inactive), type, and priority. You can use the search bar to search all email delivery configurations of the organization.

Create email delivery configuration

  1. Click the large plus icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select the configuration type (System SMTP or Custom SMTP).
  3. Enter the required information (sender email, sender display name, etc.).
  4. Click "Save" (blue button at the bottom right).

Edit email delivery configuration

  1. Click the icon to the left of the respective email delivery configuration.
  2. Change the information you want to adjust.
  3. Click "Save" (blue button at the bottom right).

Delete email delivery configuration

  1. Click the icon to the left of the respective email delivery configuration.
  2. Click "Delete" (red button at the bottom right).
  3. Confirm by clicking "Delete" in the dialog (black box with blue border).

Fields

  1. Konfigurationstyp: The type of configuration (System SMTP or Custom SMTP). Note: The type can only be chosen when creating the configuration.
  2. Absender-E-Mail: The email address used as the sender. Note: This can only be set when creating the configuration.
  3. Absender-Anzeigename: The name that is shown as the sender.
  4. Antwort-an-E-Mail: The email address to which replies should be sent (optional).
  5. Als neue Standard-Konfiguration setzen: Sets this configuration as the new default configuration (lowest priority).
  6. SMTP-Host: The hostname of the SMTP server (only for custom SMTP).
  7. SMTP-Port: The port of the SMTP server (only for custom SMTP).
  8. SMTP-Benutzername: The username for the SMTP server (only for custom SMTP).
  9. SMTP-Passwort: The password for the SMTP server (only for custom SMTP).
  10. Aktiv: Determines whether the configuration is active and can be used.
