Submodule email dispatch configurations

Overview

Under Organization → Email dispatch configurations you create sender configurations used by modules for email dispatch.

Permission: Creating and editing requires Manage email dispatch configurations.

Overview

The list shows Type, Priority, and Active/Inactive per configuration. You can filter via the search bar.

Create configuration

  1. Click the plus icon.
  2. Choose System SMTP or Custom SMTP.
  3. Enter sender email, sender display name, and optionally SMTP data.
  4. Save with Save.

Activation: New configurations are created with status inactive. After saving a notice appears that support must activate the configuration before it can be used for dispatch.

Edit configuration

When editing an existing configuration only these remain editable:

  • Sender display name
  • Reply-to email

Type, Sender email, and SMTP credentials are read-only.

Test email

For active configurations you can send a test email to verify setup.

Delete configuration

  1. Open the configuration.
  2. Click Delete and confirm in the dialog.

Fields when creating

  1. Configuration type: System SMTP or custom SMTP
  2. Sender email (when creating only)
  3. Sender display name
  4. Reply-to email (optional)
  5. Set as new default configuration
  6. SMTP host, port, username, password (custom SMTP only)
