Settings

Overview

You find this section when you open a vote and scroll to the top area “Settings”.
Here you define the core configuration of a vote: title, description, status and further options.

Settings overview

In the top area of the vote you see all core settings.
You can edit them as long as the vote is in the status “Draft / Editing”.
Some settings can also be changed while the vote is running.

Create a vote

  1. Click the large plus icon in the top right of the votes overview page.
  2. Enter a title for the vote.
  3. Configure the basic settings.
  4. Click Save (blue button at the bottom right).

Edit settings

  1. Open the vote you want to edit.
  2. Scroll to the top area “Settings”.
  3. Change the fields you want to adjust.
  4. Click Save (blue button at the bottom right).

Delete a vote

  1. Open the vote you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete (red button at the bottom right).
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Fields

  1. Title: The title of the vote (required).
  2. Description: Description of the vote (optional, can be formatted).
  3. Status: The status of the vote (set automatically):
    • Draft / Editing: The vote can be edited.
    • Running: The vote is live and voters can vote.
    • Finished: The vote has ended and the results can be viewed.
  4. Open vote: Defines whether anyone with the link can vote (no protection against multiple votes) or only invited voters can participate.
  5. Show results while running: If enabled, results are visible while the vote is running (this usually means the vote is not fully anonymous).
  6. Show results to voters: If enabled, results are shown to voters.
  7. Allow editing while running: If enabled, the configuration of the vote can still be changed while it is live (again, this usually breaks full anonymity).
  8. Administrators: Organization members who have admin rights for this specific vote.
  9. Language: The language of the vote.
